An amazing Mexican culinary experience. As a lover of Mexico and Mexican cuisine, I have got to say Aida is one of the most authentic spots in Miami I’ve been to. After visiting and enjoying multiple times I want to shout out their tacos, getting the sampler platter allows you to choose multiple meats, all the sauces, and other toppings to make your own. This is my favorite way to go, and I also need to shout out the meat juice for dipping (delicious)! They also have 3-4$ beers during happy hour along with tasty margs for a great price, hard to beat prices all around for the quality and location! Love the grove, thank you Aida!
Great place. We were not into tacos that day but the place had space so we tried it out. Wow, the food was so good and fresh. We tried fish, chicken and lamb tacos. All great. Drinks were awesome. We even had a quasadia, yes it too was tasty. We thought we had no room for desert but how can you say no to churoes. Only small negative, as a gringo the staff did not understand our humor and some orders.
We found extraordinary service. The gentleman was kind and patient to walk US through the menu when the restaurant was very near closing time. The ceviche with green Cilantro sauce was really good! And the snapper was incredible. Nonetheless, the feeling was that the restaurant is fast food. Possibly suggesting that the dishes are pre-cooked and ready to assemble and serve. Worth giving it a try...
This is one of the latest gems in coconut grove. Amazing menu, decent prices (the lunch menu is unbeatable!) and great service. Everything tasted amazing and authentic and the staff was extremely friendly. If I had only one suggestion to make: please make this babies/toddlers friendly and install a changing station in the restroom :)
Absolutely great all around. The ambience is nice and modern, the service is super nice and friendly, and the prices are right in line for this type of restaurant. Full service bar, the food is spectacular. We had the tuna appetizer and the sea bass and tempura fish tacos for entrees and we would have ordered seconds if we could. The caramel cookie for dessert was spectacular! Will come again for sure.
Went for the first time tonight to Aida excited to have a Mexican seafood restaurant in the neighborhood. Found the menu and the food disappointing. I had the shrimp tacos and it was just a bunch of fried shrimp in a taco with some chipotle sauce. My friend had the octopus which was fine but didn’t strike her as authentic Mexican. We shared some very sweet churros for dessert which were ok. Service was fine and the decor also fine but it’s not a place I would go back to. Sorry to say that as it’s close to home and seemed so promising.
We had dinner at Aida's to celebrate a special occasion. This is a very nice Mexican Seafood Restaurant located in Coconut Grove. The decoration is Beautiful. Staff is friendly. We had the Shrimp Tacos and the Red Snapper with garnish sides and tortillas. For dessert we had Flan Aida. Food was very Fresh and Delicious. We'll go back to try more of Aida's delicious food.
The popcorn shrimp taco was delicious and just the right of spicy. The ceviche sauce was sweet to the taste! The lasagna was interesting…the base is made out of corn tortillas. Aida has a great atmosphere! Wish they had their liquor license.
